What is considered a re-do wedding?

Speaking of myself, when I use the term "redo" I give it a negative connotation. Simply, I do not believe in second weddings. I think your first wedding is your only wedding. If you want a big wedding and cannot afford it, then the couple should wait. I just find it silly and tasteless to do it twice, and my attitude towards this shows through in my answers. So to answer your question, I consider it a "redo" when the couple has already performed a marrriage ceremony sometime prior-- whether at the court house or destination wedding, or what have you.
