What should I get? Ball Python? Ferret? Rat gerbil, sugar glider, tarantula, all of them?

Rats actually don't bite, and most gerbils don't either... not sure where that information came from! Ferrets are awesome, but if you're looking for a chill animal I wouldn't suggest them as they love to run around and explore/rummage/dig up plants/etc. They are destructive but not in a mean way, more of a curious way. They are untrainable though (beyond potty training, which is really important with them) and they couldn't care less about you, but still, they're pretty cool to just coexist with.
