Planning to visit Los Angeles question about places to see.?

We are planning to be in L.A. by 11 AM tomorrow and drive around in Beverly Hills (Rodeo drive, Sunset Blvd, etc) and see Kodak Theater. We are planning to use the remaining time of tomorrow and the whole of Monday to see Universal Studios. Is there a better way to spend our time or see other better places? We have to drive back to San Jose by early hours of Tuesday.
