How can you tell the difference of infection vs allergic reaction in recently pierced ears?

well its probably just an infection cuz if it was an allergic reaction ur whole ear would be purple and it would go towards ur face but if its not than its just an infection put some rubbing alcohol on it and squeeze some lemon juice on it that will also help good luck and i hope it feels better!
