Does anyone know if Apple will make a larger capacity ipod???

I'm really wondering if Apple will make a larger capacity ipod touch. Does anyone know if they will and when? Thanks. Also, does anyone thing I shouldn't get a touch? I really want one and it seems amazing, but very overpriced. Any advice?
