Jesus was the most important man to have ever lived?

If you look at your history book, I think you'll find that the Romans adopted the Catholic religion (almost like saying, hey we were wrong). and the reason for that delay of time is that all the scriptures were in different languages and in that time it took a great deal of time to untangle such a mix languages, and while trying to get everything right takes further time. Also in the years following his death, the christian church wasn't established yet and while everyone was trying to get what was actually what happened it took time. also in those first years the vast majority of people didn't like the religion, and many people were persecuted the believers of this new faith. It would be hard to keep religious records without being killed, and not all are faithful enough to become a martyr
